Energy Issues
The Grand Junction Area Chamber supports public education and discussion about the energy industry and its impact on our local economy. To this end the Chamber’s Energy Issues Committee has developed several programs by which this public education can take place. From educational energy briefing seminars to on-location tours of drilling rigs, watersheds and the Roan Plateau, our members gain knowledge and understanding regarding industry activity and its effect on the economic growth and prosperity of our community, our state and our country. This page contains brief fact sheets from multiple topics covered at past energy briefings as well as a schedule of upcoming briefings and other activities.
