Providing Networking Opportunities

People like to do business with people they know! The Chamber offers many excellent opportunities to get acquainted with the many people who make up the business community through:

  • Business After Hours - held on the last Tuesday of each month with an average attendance of 300.
  • Committees and Task Force Involvement - opportunities including the Legislative Committee, Business Education Partnership, and the Chamber Rangers, the Chamber's ambassador group which does public relations, promotions, and volunteer work for the Chamber.
  • Annual Golf Tournament
  • Annual Banquet - average attendance of 750.
  • Membership Directory and Buyers Guide Listing - 3,000 copies are distributed to Chamber Member Businesses and to individuals requesting relocation information - and the entire directory and guide are available on this Web site. The Grand Junction Economic Partnership and the Visitor and Convention Bureau to promote the Grand Junction area also use the directory.
  • The Chamber encourages Chamber members to do business with other Chamber members.

Chamber committees provide a conduit of information to you about healthcare, workforce, transportation, manufacturing and local legislative issues. While you are working at your business, the Chamber is promoting the community through involvement, facilitation and education.

Grand Junction Forum

Green Business Directory

More and more businesses are examining their methods of doing business and looking for ways to conserve, recycle, renew and work in a sustainable manner. Your Grand Junction Area Chamber supports its green-minded business members with advocacy, and education. The Green Directory is available to anyone who wants to locate resources that use sustainable business practices and promote a strong local economy.
